Numbers reflect QCloud OSS production telemetry · KHI-1 + ISB-1 · 12-month rolling window.
One service. Every object your application throws at it.
OSS is unstructured cloud storage built on flat namespaces of buckets and objects, accessible over a standard S3-compatible HTTP API from any language, any tool, any region inside Pakistan.
Built on four promises — the same four you'd ask any object store for.
Stable — engineered for 11 nines of durability.
Reliability is built into every layer: erasure coding across multiple hardware components, automatic checksum verification on read and write, and continuous integrity scrubbing on every bucket.
Easy to use.
Upload, download, and manage objects from anywhere — console, REST API, CLI, or any of 30+ language SDKs.
Secure by default.
AES-256 server-side encryption, presigned URLs, fine-grained bucket policies, VPC isolation, and full audit logging — on by default, every bucket.
Efficient — maximum concurrency, minimum latency.
Engineered for parallel object access at very high bandwidth and consistent sub-100ms first-byte latency to Pakistani end users. Multipart uploads up to 5 TB, parallel range reads, and HTTP/2 supported natively.
Hot. Cool. Cold. Archive. Move objects between tiers — automatically.
Frequently accessed objects — website assets, hot DB exports, active media
Objects accessed a few times per month — analytics dumps, monthly reports, secondary backups.
Compliance archives, year-end data, infrequently retrieved historical logs.
Multi-year retention, regulatory cold storage.
Lifecycle policies can move objects between these tiers automatically — by age, by access pattern, or by tag.

If your tool already speaks S3, it already speaks QCloud OSS.
Drop-in replacement for AWS S3 SDKs and CLIs. Point your existing tooling at oss.qcloud.pk, swap the keys, and ship — no SDK rewrite, no vendor lock-in.
From brand assets to petabyte data lakes — one storage layer.
Permissions and lifecycle — one JSON policy away.
Fine-grained access. Public reads. Signed URLs. Auto-tiering. Auto-expiration. All declarative. All versioned. All audited.

Pay for what you store. In rupees. No FX. No egress surprises inside your VPC.
Cheaper. Closer. In-country. All in PKR.
Most teams cut their object-storage spend 30–60% by eliminating egress and FX exposure in the first quarter.
Every S3 tool you already use — works on day one.
S3-Signature-V4 + standard S3 API = drop-in compatibility for the entire S3 ecosystem.
Everything you wanted to know before you create your first bucket.
What exactly is QCloud OSS?
QCloud Object Storage Service (OSS) is an S3-compatible cloud storage layer hosted inside Pakistan. Store any unstructured data — files, images, video, logs, backups, datasets — in buckets, accessible over a standard HTTP API in any language.
Is QCloud OSS fully S3-compatible?
Yes. OSS implements the AWS S3 API (Signature V4, multipart upload, presigned URLs, versioning, lifecycle, object lock, bucket policies). Any tool that speaks S3 works on day one — just change the endpoint.
Where is my data stored?
Inside Pakistan. Every byte resides in PTCL's Tier-3 / Rated-3 certified data centers in Karachi (KHI-1) and Islamabad (ISB-1). Nothing ever leaves the country.
How is OSS billed?
By the GB-month, in PKR. Pay only for what you store, plus a small per-request and egress charge. No minimums on Standard tier. No FX exposure. Egress inside your QCloud VPC is free.
What's the durability and availability SLA?
OSS is designed for 11 nines (99.999999999%) of annual object durability via cross-AZ erasure coding, with a 99.99% availability SLA on the Standard tier.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. Every new QCloud account gets 5 GB-month of Standard storage and 1 GB-month of egress free, plus a 1-month free trial of all paid services.
What's the max object size?
Single PUT: 5 GB. Multipart upload: 5 TB per object, 10,000 parts per object. No limit on the number of objects per bucket.
Can I host a static website out of OSS?
Yes. Enable static website hosting on any bucket, set index/error documents, and serve your site at <bucket>.oss.qcloud.pk — with our PK-hosted CDN edge in front for global low-latency delivery.
How do versioning and Object Lock work?
Enable versioning to keep every prior copy of an object — protection against accidental delete and overwrite. Apply Object Lock for WORM (write-once-read-many) retention — perfect for compliance archives.
How do I migrate from AWS S3, Azure Blob, or on-prem MinIO?
Use rclone, MinIO Client (mc mirror), or our migration team's managed transfer service. Most migrations under 50 TB complete in a few days; petabyte migrations are scoped and supported by QCloud engineers.
